Shabbat HaGadol"The Mighty Shabbat" is the name we give to the Shabbat before Pesach and generally it occurs on Parashat Tzav. Without explicitly discussing Pesach, it hintsat the holiday. We read about the meal offering that was brought in the Temple:What is left of it Aaron and his sons shall eat, as matzot it shall be eaten, in a holy place, in the court of the Tent of Meeting they shall eat it. It shall not be baked leavened. On Seder night we mimic this process: we become high priests, we eat matza, and we allow the Seder to transform our homes into a holy place – a little Temple.
