- Jewish HK
While Judaism does not believe in proselytizing, our congregation tries to fulfill the commandment to “love the convert.” The path to an Orthodox conversion is arduous and requires serious lifestyle changes. We do not offer “Introduction to Judaism” classes but prefer a more intimate setting where our lore and laws can be thoroughly studied at more individualized pace. Conversion is not only about knowledge but also about becoming part of a religious Jewish community. If you would like to explore Judaism, you are invited to attend a few Saturday morning services and then decide if you wish to make an appointment with Rabbi Oser. A reliable website that can help in understanding the conversion process is www.JudaismConversion.org.
