Fluent in six languages and a practising physician, Rabbi Dr Abadie had a distinguished career in New York City as the Rabbi of the Edmond J. Safra Synagogue. He is the Founder and Head of School at the Sephardic Academy of Manhattan. Active on numerous boards and a recipient of many awards, he was especially honoured to receive the Orden Del MeritoCivil, the highest civil decoration by His Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain. He is the Senior Rabbi of the Jewish Council of the Emirates. Click here
