Who is welcome to attend services at Ohel Leah?

Anyone is welcome to attend services at Ohel Leah. All visitors will be subject to a search by security. We ask that you have proper identification with you.

 

To visit or attend services, should I need to call ahead of time?

Yes, it advised that you call ahead of time.

 

Is there an Eruv?

No there is no Eruv in Hong Kong.

 

Is it permissible to photograph the Synagogue?

Certainly. You are welcome to take photographs with the exception of on Shabbat and festivals.

 

What if I am part of an interfaith family?

Nobody is turned away from OLS because they are part of an interfaith family. However, as an Orthodox synagogue we offer ritual privileges according to Orthodox Jewish Law. For further clarification please email Rabbi Oser.

 

Is there a dress code?

We ask that you dress appropriately for a house of worship.

 

What should I know about visiting the Synagogue on Shabbat?

Mobile phones and cameras should not be used or displayed.

Outside food is not permitted.

 

Do you offer tours of the synagogue? Is there a gift shop?
